What is Water Baptism?
Water baptism is a public acknowledgement that you have already accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. In addition, you accept all that Christ has done for you: including that Christ died for your sins, was buried and rose again from the dead so that you can receive salvation. Through participating in water baptism, you declare that you are dead to sin, you have buried the old sinful nature, and you are living a new life in Christ. Baptism is your testimony that you have died to the old self and have risen to a new life in Christ.

Baptism Scriptures:
“For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body–whether Jews or Gentiles, slave or free–and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.” 1 Corinthians 12:13

“For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.” Galatians 3:27

“This water symbolizes baptism that now saves you also–not the removal of dirt from the body but the pledge of a clear conscience toward God. It saves you by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 3:21
